Are you seasoned sales leader with a focus on logistics and supply chain? Have you established strong connections and relationships with other transport companies, vendors, and other stakeholders in the supply chain? We are looking for a Branch Director based in Burnaby, BC who can utilize their skills and will be able to identify, pursue and close new business through various sales strategies.
Our client is a large international 3PL organization recognized as a leader in their field. They help move thousands of loads worldwide from Canada, USA and globally. The successful incumbent will have the option and flexibility to come to work in person, or in a remote or hybrid model. It should also be noted that the company supports its employees and if there is a team that you wish to bring on, that would also be in consideration.
Develop and foster healthy relationships with transportation partners and other stakeholders.
Work with VP, Sales on strategic longer growth targets.
Foster growth in developing commercial push-pull relationships.
Prepare marketing strategies.
Acquire new business.
Observe market trends, supply chain, and able to analyze to maneuver and pivot accordingly.
Support sales campaigns and designing new ways to identify different sale verticals that can be captured.
Grow and develop a team.
Carry out all others related tasks.

Exigences du poste
Proven track record in sales in transportation, logistics, but 3PL would be preferred.
Freight Forwarding experience.
Air and Ocean Freight experience.
Knowledge of ocean, air, FCL and LCL are definite assets.
Strong leadership qualities to lead and manage a growing team.
Strong Business Acumen and sales executive background and must be adept with the sale cycle process, negotiation and closing procedures.
Logistics Coordinator background – must be able to know key contacts in freight forwarding spheres and transportation companies that move freight in Canada, USA and globally.
Freight Brokerage processes, principles, and methodologies.
Carrier relationships – candidate must demonstrate strong links and contacts in land transport for Canadian and American markets and satisfactory knowledge in the air and ocean spheres.
Must have strong communication skills and customer service.
Disciplined, persistent, professional, and relationship builder/manager.
