Our client is a global company who produces and distributes industrial gases on a global scale. He is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager in Cambridge Ontario.

Les tâches

  • Assume accountability for warehouse operations, operate within budget for operations and capital requests.
  • Manage and maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations including receiving, put away, transfers, picking & packing, shipping and transport.
  • Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure quality and productivity objectives are met.
  • Maximize quality and productivity by understanding the expectations of the company and evaluate performance variances to identify root cause and corrective action.
  • Lead and control activities of branch warehouse personnel including training, coaching and development.
  • Complete general planning.
  • Coordinate warehouse flow of operations.
  • Provide and supervise customer pickup.
  • Ensure open and effective two-way communication at all levels.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Exigences du poste

  • Degree or diploma in supply chain.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in warehousing.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, ERP and/or WMS.
  • Natural leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
