Tasks

  • Registration of payments for accounts receivable (credit and debit card).
  • Management of account statements and collections.
  • Manage financing and apply payments.
  • Make deposits with the bank.
  • Make payments to suppliers in accordance with deadlines.
  • Validate invoices received (quantity, item number, cost, transportation, etc.).
  • Open and classify supplier files.
  • Distribute mail received by Canada Post.
  • Take part in any other related task for the smooth running of operations.

Job requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a similar position (accounts payable and receivable experience).
  • Possess or be in the process of completing a DEP or DEC in accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, mainly Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of ERPP Acumatica management software (an asset).
  • Have a functional level of bilingualism in spoken and written communications (French and English).
