Our client, a para-governmental organization, is looking for a resourceful and professional Class 1 Administrative Officer.

Tasks

  • Provide administrative support to management.
  • Manage your supervisor’s schedule.
  • Write up the minutes and format documents.
  • Transcribe routine correspondences.
  • Write administrative reports (verification, transmission, filing…).
  • Answer and forward calls.
  • Welcome and direct visitors.
  • Process correspondence.
  • Organize meetings and participate in the planning of special events.
  • Ensure a proper welcome for new employees.
  • Convene participants to scheduled meetings, draft and follow up on agendas.
  • Enter data into the computer system and produce reports.
  • Carry out any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEC in office automation or secretarial studies.
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of confidentiality rules and records retention.
  • Excellent French grammar written and spoken.
