Our client in Montreal is seeking an experienced Bending Machine Operator to join their team and work on high-quality projects. You will be responsible for carefully assembling various components with accuracy, adhering to technical drawings and established standards.

Tasks
Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing plans to determine the bending specifications for materials.
Prepare and load materials into the roll bender according to product requirements.
Set up and adjust the bending machine parameters to meet the required specifications, including adjusting the rollers and dies.
Operate the roll bender to bend and shape materials according to specified angles and curves.
Monitor the bending process to ensure the accuracy and quality of the produced parts.
Inspect bent parts to verify compliance with tolerances and quality standards.
Make minor adjustments in case of misalignment or defects to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
Maintain and clean the bending machine regularly to ensure optimal operation and prolong its lifespan.

Job requirements
Previous experience as a roll bender operator or in a similar role in manufacturing or mechanics.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing plans to interpret bending specifications.
Skills in machine setup and configuration, including the ability to adjust rollers and dies according to production needs.
Knowledge of material properties and bending methods for different types of metals and alloys.
Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of produced parts.
Ability to perform quality inspections and identify defects or errors in the bending process.
Knowledge of safety standards and the ability to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
