Our client is a leader in the metal industry in the Quebec region, committed to providing quality service and fostering a people-oriented organizational culture. Reporting directly to the General Management, the Controller will be responsible for accounting activities, payroll management, and cost accounting processes. The company is located on the South Shore of Montreal.
Tasks
Producing and analyzing monthly financial statements for management;
Overseeing all accounting processes within the company (accounts payable, receivable);
Handling payroll processes, as well as accounts payable and receivable, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency;
Managing the cost accounting process;
Preparing the external audit file and acting as the key person in the external audit process;
Participating in the implementation of the accounting system (ERP) and ensuring its optimal management thereafter;
Performing other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements
Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or financial management;
5 years of experience in a similar position, in the industrial or manufacturing sector;
Advanced proficiency in Excel;
Strong command of accounting software and experience with ERP systems.
