As they continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated Customer Installation Technician to join their team in Fort McMurray, AB.


  • Install and repair gas systems and equipment to keep it in good working order.
  • Ensure proper completion and submission of documentation and paperwork.
  • Troubleshoot problems and check equipment for faults and performance issues.
  • Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings to successfully install and run various equipment and attachments.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment continuously to ensure safety and proper functioning.
  • Provide excellent customer service and propose corrective and solution-driven measures.
  • Begin, operate and end plant operation and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Perform technical support during equipment breakdowns.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report issues as they arise.
  • Carry out additional tasks which contribute to the success of this position.

Job requirements

  • 3 years of experience with either an instrumentation qualification or gas/refrigeration ticket.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • A solid mechanical understanding and experience working with hand tools.
  • Demonstrated experience working with valves, compressors, high-pressure pipelines, cryogenic liquid, etc.
  • Knowledge of tagout and lockout processes.
  • Ability to exert some physical effort, dexterity, and coordination, including lifting, twisting, bending, carrying heavy objects, and working on uneven surfaces.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Willing to travel as required.
