Evening shift, from 6:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and on Fridays, from 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. (2.5 hours of overtime paid at time-and-a-half, applied every week).

They are currently seeking an evening dispatcher to support their team in Boucherville. Tasks

  • Answer calls from drivers.
  • Supervise a team of unionized and non-unionized drivers.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling and handling phone calls.
  • Analyze undelivered clients and reassign responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure that the driver is informed of all client instructions regarding loading and that all shipping documents accompany the trip.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective coordination of operations.
  • Manage approximately fifty drivers.
  • Perform other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in dispatching.
  • Intermediate level of English to communicate with some English-speaking drivers (5% of the time).
  • Good knowledge of the Office Suite.
  • Strong geographic knowledge of Quebec.
