If you are that person, actively wanting to participate in the organization of events, we want to meet you! This organization, a business community, is currently looking for an Events Coordinator. To qualify for this position, it's easy! You must be bilingual, have experience in events, have a positive attitude and above all be proactive. Is this a good description of you by any chance?


  • Manage the administration and logistics of all events (networking, dinner/evening, gala, seminar, golf tournament, etc.) in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets for each event project and follow through during the process.
  • Coordinate the annual calendar of events.
  • Prepare and participate in the negotiation of contracts and renewals with members and suppliers.
  • Place food orders, promotional materials, audiovisual supplies and equipment, decorations, etc.
  • Follow up after each event to gather information needed to improve the quality of future projects.
  • Conduct research to make decisions on event opportunities.
  • Provide new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
  • Prepare materials for events (programs, notebooks, wraps, gift bags, registration lists, etc.).
  • Be the contact person for all event-related requests and questions.
  • Assist with general office administration as needed.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEC in administration or tourism or AEC in event planning.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position (administrative support, event management).
  • Good social networking skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Montreal area and surroundings.
  • Proficiency in a computer environment (MS Office suite, MailChimp, video conferencing tools, etc.).
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (occasional trips to company events).
  • Good level of bilingualism - English and French.
