A non-profit organization that specializes in intervention, awareness and prevention for men in difficult conjugal situations is seeking a person with a community vision who is motivated by new challenges to fill the position of Executive Director.
Reporting to the President of the Board of Directors, the Director will be responsible for implementing an action plan to achieve the objectives as well as developing and maintaining the services and activities of the organization.
Tasks
Take charge of organization operations, establishing new policies and preparing the annual budget.
Present a strategic plan to the Board of Directors for the implementation of the mission.
Consolidate existing services and develop new services.
Promote all kinds of awareness and promotional activities to increase the organization's traffic.
Be present on the organization's website and on social networks.
Be the spokesperson for the organization with the population and partners (governmental authorities & media).
Write the mandatory reports for the government and shareholders.
Handle the recruitment, hiring and evaluation of employees (permanent, contractual & volunteers).
Apply HR management and collective agreement policies.
Maintain close and regular relations with the various partners.
Prepare the accounting process and budget forecasts with the treasurer.
Develop fundraising strategies to meet the needs of the organization.
Participate and assist in the preparation of meetings for the Board and any other work committee as well as assemblies.
Perform any other related tasks to achieve the organization's objectives.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in the field of psychosocial intervention (criminology, psychology, social work or special education).
Minimum 4 years of experience in management or job-related functions.
Knowledge of community issues.
Proficiency in the Office Suite.
Knowledge of issues related to men living in difficult conjugal situations (an asset).
Membership in a professional association (an asset).
Bilingualism, both written and spoken (an asset).
Available to work evenings and weekends when requested.
