Under the supervision of the Quality Director, the Food Quality Assurance Technician ensures the excellence of raw materials and finished products. More than just an inspector, he/she is a passionate partner, present in the field to optimize processes and respond quickly to challenges. The emphasis is on prevention rather than correction, with rigorous collaboration to ensure that everything happens with excellence.
Tasks
Perform quality control of products and raw materials in accordance with established procedures.
Evaluate and verify operator control results according to established procedures.
Complete and follow up on inspection and non-conformity reports.
Inspect and verify the cleanliness and appearance of ordered samples before packaging and shipping.
Communicate relevant information and quality non-conformities to stakeholders, such as the supervisor, production, and customer service.
Manage and validate the quality of production activities.
Check documentation before and after production to ensure compliance.
Receive and manage customer complaints, prepare statistical reports, and propose improvement plans.
Participate in employee training on quality control procedures.
Perform any other task related to quality control excellence.

Job requirements
Academic background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, food sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Professional experience: minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance in the plastics, pharmaceutical or food industries.
Knowledge of standards: excellent mastery of GMP and SQF processes and standards.
Understanding of industrial processes: in-depth ability to understand industrial manufacturing processes.
Technical skills: ability to configure, read and interpret measuring instruments.
Communication skills: excellent written and oral communication skills.
