As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Field Operations Supervisor for their new operations in their Burns Lake, BC operations.


  • Overseeing and supervising logging and road construction as well as maintenance contractors.
  • Implementing company wide safety, environmental and forest certification plans.
  • Ensuring that government regulations are met.
  • Being responsible for liaison with Government, community and First Nation community.
  • Managing monthly and annual work scheduling and corresponding budget preparation.
  • Negotiating on Contractor rates for logging and road maintenance contracts.
  • Assisting in coordinating forestry and silviculture activities.
  • Carrying out any other similar tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Forestry or a closely related natural resource field.
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Forest Professional with the Association of BC Forest Professionals.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience.
  • Proficient in basic business and forestry software.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A sound understanding of what is fundamentally required for safe, productive and environmentally effective forest operations.
