Our client, a company specialized in truck maintenance and repair, is currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle Inspector on the Road to join their dynamic team. Tasks

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers) directly on the road and at various locations.
  • Identify and analyze mechanical, electrical, or structural issues with the vehicles.
  • Provide recommendations for repairs or adjustments necessary to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Write detailed inspection reports and follow up on technical actions.
  • Work closely with drivers and fleet managers to plan repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain clear communication with the internal team to ensure prompt and efficient handling of interventions.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience as a heavy vehicle inspector, mechanic, or in a similar technical field.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety systems of trucks and heavy vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in varying and sometimes demanding conditions.
