A community-based non-profit organization (NPO), our client's mission is to provide a range of services from outreach services for teens and young adults to services for the transition to independent living and long-term support in the community. Social development services are offered to all and include the creation of groups, activities and events. It also puts a lot of energy into collective awareness and continuous improvement of its services. Participating in initiatives that place the assistance of these people at the center of these activities is a great way to feel fulfilled both personally and professionally.You will work with a mostly English-speaking clientele.   • You oversee the organization and facilitation of various programs, social and residential activities and special events.
  • You provide hands-on support and follow-up in the community, such as home visits, budgets, errands.
  • You develop, conduct and coordinate various intervention plans and meetings with various workers.
  • You ensure regular contact with the family and various community partners for better collaboration.
  • You educate new clients.
  • You contribute to various programs and events to better serve the clients.
  • You are willing to assist in any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • Academically, you have a bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related field (social work, human relations, psychology or sociology).
  • You have a vehicle for transportation.
  • You are equally fluent in English and French, both orally and in writing.
