Participate in the implementation of recruitment strategies and the evaluation of candidates by coordinating pre-employment testing (psychometric, physical, technical, etc.).
Complete the entire staffing cycle (from job posting to interviewing and onboarding) and verify the information required for hiring.
Observe employee training needs, coordinate training accordingly and evaluate the completed training process.
Develop tools to improve human resources practices and participate in human resources management activities.
Ensure a healthy and safe work environment by participating in discussions and activities on the subject with the OHS committee.
Ensure the updating and continuous improvement of OHS programs and compliance with current standards by assisting managers in communicating them to their teams.
Coordinate meetings related to human resources to support managers in the management of human resources and ensure clear internal communication.
Update employee files on a regular basis and manage vacations, sick leave, absences and special leaves according to the policy in effect.
Perform other related duties to ensure proper human resources management.

Have a background in human resources, career counseling, industrial relations or other relevant training.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role and sector (manufacturing or unionized environment).
Fluency in spoken and written French and an intermediate level of English.
Have a good knowledge of Quebec labour laws and standards.
Know and be comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite.
Being a member of the Ordre des CRHA or CRIA and having completed the OHS course are both assets.
