Tasks

  • Completing design and modelling of industrial vehicles, in particular by integrating various components (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical) while complying with standards.
  • Composing and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all vehicles to be produced.
  • Planning the manufactured components and describing the welding, painting and assembly instructions.
  • Providing vehicle technical documentation and engineering changes for which you are responsible.
  • Supporting the production team when new vehicles are produced.
  • Being in problem solving mode when difficulties are encountered during vehicle manufacture or assembly.
  • Making estimates for special projects and non-standard options.
  • Actively collaborating with engineers to continuously improve various processes (manufacturing and design) and best practices in mandates.
  • Taking part in any other tasks for the smooth running of projects.

Job requirements

  • DCS in Mechanical Engineering or any other equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in 3D design software, preferably Solid Edge.
  • Experience in technical drawing, engineering tolerance and mechanically-welded structures.
  • Experience in manufacturing or electric vehicle design (a strong asset).
  • Knowing English (an asset).
  • French/English bilingual (an asset).
