Schedule
Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Friday ends at 12:00 PM.

Our client in Montreal is seeking an experienced inspector with expertise in welding, quality control, and project management to ensure flawless results. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, paying close attention to detail, and adhering to technical specifications while overseeing projects from start to finish. Your welding expertise will enable you to deeply understand technical requirements and ensure that products not only meet quality standards but also that projects are managed effectively for timely deliveries. Tasks

  • Rigorously inspect welded metal parts to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to detect defects or anomalies in the welds.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the conformity of finished products.
  • Analyze inspection results to identify trends, causes of non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate weld quality in terms of strength, appearance, and precision according to industry standards.
  • Oversee welding projects, coordinating tasks, resources, and timelines.
  • Prepare reports on non-conformities, corrective actions, and proposed improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for welding practices and quality control procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Significant experience in welding and quality control, ideally in a similar industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of welding techniques and industry standards.
  • Expertise in visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of welds.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing inspection results and recommending corrective actions.
  • Experience in project management, including coordinating tasks, resources, and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
