Do you have some accounting experience? Are you looking for an Intermediate Accountant position? Our client's is a tyre manufacturing company located in Langley, BC. They are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced candidate for a part time Intermediate Accountant.

Tasks

  • Be responsible for accounts payable including entering invoices, matching purchase orders, cheque runs, reconciling credit cards statements and processing online banking payments.
  • Verify and complete credit application forms for new supplier accounts and notify to the manager for any large transactions.
  • Entering accruals, manual journal entries, and process recurring entries.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements if required.
  • Prepare monthly GST, QST, HST, all Provincial Taxes includes reconciliations and remittances and submit to the appropriate tax authority before the deadline.
  • Prepare daily production report and monthly analysis to the management team.
  • Prepare reports, letters, memos, proposals, budgets and other information as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or diploma specializing in accounting.
  • At least 1-2 years of full cycle accounting experience is required.
  • Knowledgeable about Oracle ERP or similar is a definite asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
