They are seeking to hire a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing all import shipments as well as assisting on outbound shipments when the need arises.
Coordinate merchandise imports with 3PL teams and suppliers in North America.
Help resolve logistical issues that might arise at the ports or distribution hubs.
Deal directly with steamship lines and carriers to ensure proper tariffication.
Stay up to date with current supply chain issues and participate in dispute resolution.
Proactively expand carrier base through strong negotiation with a focus on reducing shipping costs.
Carry out any other similar tasks.
