Whether you have just graduated, just finished an internship or already have a few years of experience in notarial law, you are the notary we are looking for! In addition to making several types of notarial rights (human law, succession, real estate, commercial), your humorous skills must be ready. Tasks

  • Being available to meet clients and meet their diverse needs.
  • Assisting clients in drafting notarized documents such as wills and protection mandates.
  • Managing succession law (settlement of estates, drafting of documents, etc.) and real estate law (refinancing, loans and sales, disposals, etc.).
  • Performing non-contentious procedures such as approval of warrants, verification of wills, opening of protection regime, etc.
  • Managing a few commercial law files including but not limited to applications related to incorporation, annual meetings and dissolutions.
  • Participating in any other related work for the smooth conduct of the practice.

Job requirements

  • You have a maximum of 5 years of experience as a notary.
  • You have a degree in notarial law.
  • You are a member of the Ordre de la Chambre des notaires du Québec.
  • You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • You can provide 1 evening per week in your availability.
  • You are fluent in both spoken and written French, bilingual is an asset.
  • You know the Para-Maître software, it is also an asset.
