Our client, a public sector organization, is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join their team. This strategic role involves overseeing and optimizing procurement processes, with a particular focus on contract management, coordination of calls for tenders, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

Tasks

  • Analyze, design, and implement systems, procedures, and programs to optimize administrative and operational performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of contract administration, including managing calls for tenders, evaluating proposals, executing contracts, and ensuring reporting obligations are met.
  • Review technical specifications to ensure contractual options adequately meet the organization's needs.
  • Provide strategic advice to managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of published documents and reports.
  • Chair evaluation committees for calls for tenders and ensure proper documentation in collaboration with the Government Procurement Center (CAG).
  • Monitor, renew, and ensure compliance with the terms of goods and services contracts.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in contract management, public tender processes, and contract administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable public sector laws and regulations.
