Our client is an industry leader in their field and they're currently in a hyper-growth phase. They are looking to hire a Production and Maintenance Manager who will oversee all day-to-day manufacturing for the company, all while ensuring that quality standards and plans are respected.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for a staff of 20-25 people including 3 production leaders and, as a manager, your leadership will be essential to achieve the company's objectives.
Tasks
Ensure health and safety measures are respected at all times by the production teams and monitor the quality of their work.
Recruit and manage the size of the production team based on current volumes.
Delegate and communicate workload and all relevant information to your team.
Keep ERP system up to date.
Supervise the performance and outsourcing of all maintenance suppliers.
Organize year-end inventory audits.
Assist with problem resolution in the plant.
Promote an environment of continuous improvement, leading by example.
Carry out any other related tasks.

Job requirements
University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
3 years of professional experience in a management role.
Experience using an ERP.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and French.
Ability to lift up to 40 lb and climb a ladder.
