Our client is a community organization in Laval and is currently looking for an intervenor to be devoted to suicide prevention with their male clientele. Do you have a strong ability to inspire and help others evolve in their journey? Join this team!
Tasks
Plan and hold individual welcoming/assessment meetings and then follow up.
Respond to various requests for clinical information (program, objective of the approach, eligibility criteria, etc.).
Organize and co-host team sessions, as required
Log, update and compile monitoring mechanisms for intervention-related activities and the clientele’s journey.
Attend a minimum of 3 clinical coaching meetings (if assigned to group intervention).
Contribute to the maintenance of the premises under the organization’s rules for welcoming, security and confidentiality.
Carry out any other similar tasks.

Job requirements
DCS in Social Work or a similar field.
Knowing or wanting to learn about intervention with a directive approach.
Experience working with men (an asset).
Experience in crisis response (a significant asset).
Having a certified suicide prevention training – if not, it will be given to you once hired.
At least 12 years of community experience, intervention.
French, spoken and written.
Must be available 1 to 2 evenings per week (5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.).
