Our client is a manufacturing company located in Sherbrooke with over 30 years of experience in the design, manufacturing and sale of electrical equipment at the national and international level. In its growth process, the company is looking for a purchasing and supply manager.
Reporting to the team leader, the main objective of the Purchasing and Supply Manager is to participate in the growth of the purchasing department. Their challenge will also be to implement efficient inventory processes that will allow the sales department to respond to existing and new customers in a timely manner.
Handle the purchasing and supply process of components and materials for the entire company.
Ensure an excellent relationship with strategic suppliers.
Implement procedures to select, audit and qualify current and future suppliers.
Ensure inventory levels are within optimal levels according to periodic planning.
Negotiate overall terms of purchase, delivery, deadlines and quality.
Work in partnership with the engineering and sales teams.
Perform any other related tasks.
