Our client, a multinational company that manufactures and offers new solutions in vibrating wire and fiber optic technologies for geotechnical and structural instruments, is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist for their factory in Saint-Lambert.
Tasks
Implement and orchestrate industry compliant inspections, tests and method evaluations.
Analyze and understand customer needs and evaluate and document customer satisfaction.
Develop quality assurance procedures in accordance with industry standards.
Implement and manage processes in accordance with quality and reliability specifications.
Introduce methods to inspect, test and evaluate products, services and equipment.
Collaborate with engineering to establish requirements for raw materials and compliant products.
Communicate quality standards and metrics to production and production development teams and relevant personnel.
Collaborate on continuous improvement projects on work procedure documentation.
Diagnose and correct non-compliant processes.
Perform audits to maintain company quality certifications.
Maintain ISO-9001: 2015 certification and be the internal contact for the external link.
Prepare analysis and data reports and maintain performance indexes up to date.
Maintain compliance with laws, guidelines and various policies.
Support the ERP system in elements related to product traceability and material list.
Implement ERP reports and lists when necessary
Comply with workplace regulations, policies and procedures.
Maintain and reinforce good practices for a safe and well-organized work environment.
Performs any other duties related to the position to maintain and improve operations.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics management or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
ASQ, CMQ/OE or equivalent professional certification is an asset.
Knowledge of instrument manufacturing is a major asset.
Knowledge of MS Office environment, and ERP systems (asset).
Bilingual in French and English (asset).
