Tasks

  • Be able to provide expertise to the customer, maintain relationships as well as drive new business (leads, sales opportunities) and product sales.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for accounts.
  • Provide demonstrations (in-person, virtually and at trade shows of various product lines).
  • Follow up and analyze various customer results to determine if needs are being met for both after sales and troubleshooting (repairs, start-ups and training).
  • Assist and make sales presentations to various companies.
  • Develop and deliver a sales plan aligned with company objectives including key performance indicators.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal resources to optimize and determine strategic sales approaches.
  • Promote and maintain the organization's brand image on the market.
  • Comply with company standards and procedures.
  • Complete and update various weekly and monthly reports.
  • Update activities in the CRM.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Have a high school diploma.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial or machinery sales.
  • Knowledge of surface pumps and systems and water treatment (a BIG asset).
  • Post-secondary education - in the technical/mechanical field (an asset).
  • In-depth knowledge of various sales techniques.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Good bilingualism (English speaking company based in Ontario).

Desired profile

  • Be available to travel throughout Quebec, including mining regions such as Val d'Or, Abitibi, Rouyn-Noranda, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Sense of priorities and deadlines to meet.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced environment.
