Tasks

• Applying your knowledge of codes in designing sprinkler plans.
• Completing project-specific hydraulic calculations.
• Creating a list of all materials.
• Gathering and preparing all necessary documentation for approvals.
• Traveling to complete site statements.
• Ensuring regular monitoring of the coordination, meetings, modifications and documentation of your projects.
• Taking part in any other related tasks for the smooth running of your projects.

Job requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing sprinklers.
• An ease using the AutoCAD design software.
• Extensive knowledge of the NFPA 13 code and building codes.
• Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license handy.
• Excellent knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Being French-English bilingual, an asset.
• Industrial Design Certificate, an asset.
