Our client, a company located on the south shore of Montreal, specializes in custom electronic subassembly. They are a trusted expert in electronic manufacturing, known for their commitment to excellence, confidentiality, and punctuality. The company is currently looking for a THT operator to bring their skills and experience to the team.
Tasks
Install and calibrate the wave soldering machine according to the product's technical specifications.
Ensure flux, temperatures, and machine settings are correct.
Place electronic components (primarily through-hole components) onto printed circuit boards.
Inspect assemblies to ensure conformity before the soldering process.
Supervise machine operation.
Ensure components are properly soldered and free of defects.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the wave soldering machine.
Conduct post-soldering quality checks to identify and correct defects.
Perform assembly tasks as needed.
Check and complete documentation.
Inspect work, materials, equipment, and all related assembly items using a microscope and automated equipment as required.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
High school diploma.
A degree in electromechanics, electronics, or a related field (an asset).
Minimum 1 year of experience with wave soldering or SMT machines.
Significant experience in electronic manufacturing or assembly.
Strong knowledge of soldering processes and the machines used.
Ability to read electronic schematics and technical instructions.
Ability to detect soldering defects and quickly resolve technical issues.
Proficiency with computers, IT, programming, and measurement tools.
