If you are looking for an amazing growth in gold mining industry, this opportunity is for you. They are looking for an experienced and skilled Director Geology in their Toronto, Ontario Operations. However, someone who is fully flexible to work anywhere in Canada and United States with flexibility to travel.


  • Providing the estimation of geological modelling and mineral resources and support to operations, development projects and exploration properties.
  • Being responsible for preparing the estimation reports of mineral resources and make sure to follow the international reporting code guidelines.
  • Taking lead for undertaking metal accounting reconciliations and sampling strategy reviews on grade control.
  • Providing peer review and guidance to our geologists and engineers in the matters of resource estimation.
  • Performing resource reviews, audits and due diligence assessments to maximize value.
  • Ensuring compliance of mineral resource estimates with international professional standards and government regulations.
  • Performing other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • At least university degree in Geology and/or geological engineering is required. A master’s level degree or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant practical experience in mining and exploration. Currently registered as a Professional Geologist (P. Geo.) as defined under NI 43-101.
  • Sound knowledge about mineral resources reporting codes.
  • Hands-on experience using mining related software, i.e. Datamine, Surpac, Gemcom or other relevant software.
  • Proven leadership, strong communication and team building skills.
  • Proficient in MS office.

  • Having strong leadership skills and technical skills.
  • Ability to travel; 20- 30%.
