As the leader of the regional team, the General Manager is responsible for service performance and business development. They ensure that relationships with customers are strong and that operational resources are deployed and well equipped to avoid disruptions while exceeding expectations and performance KPIs. The operations director ensures service optimization and is involved in all aspects of operations. They provide continuous performance feedback and coaching to the team. They will contribute to business development and work closely with the sales and senior management team to achieve growth objectives.


  • Develop KPI's related to operational costs, productivity and others.
  • Analyze the budget.
  • Establish a game plan to influence results and measure its actions.
  • Track performance with the various departments.
  • Work closely with the sales team and contribute to business development.
  • Follow up on disciplinary records.
  • Ensure the training of personnel to meet customer commitments.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a management role in a transportation environment.
  • Experience of operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
