Tasks

  • Act as the company’s ambassador for two Laval-based sites.
  • Provide overall employee relations support.
  • Coach and advise managers.
  • Manage CNESST files - OHS prevention and training.
  • Be in charge of the full staffing process including the welcoming and onboarding.
  • Perform administrative management of employees (illness, vacation, contract and any other issues).
  • Identify trend issues that may impact the organization's overall health.
  • Provide solutions to improve procedures and productivity.
  • Ensure staff management in line with company values.
  • Take charge of the necessary interventions (disciplinary measures, mediation, conflicts, work accidents, etc.).
  • Ensure company policy updates are in line with labour standards.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a generalist or in a similar role.
  • You have a university degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Canada Labour Code (CLC), human’s rights, etc.
  • An asset – transport-related experience and knowledge.
  • Bilingualism is mandatory – French and English (spoken and written).
