Our client, a company in the IT industry, is looking for a resourceful person with an excellent customer service approach to fill a position of Senior IT Technician to join its Laval office.


  • Respond to service calls from customers to provide level 1, 2 and 3 support.
  • Provide level 1, 2 and 3 support to the team of trainers/ programmers.
  • Participate in the installation of hardware and software: physical or virtual (VMware) server setup.
  • Analyze customer needs in order to develop IT evolution strategies.
  • Perform the installation and maintenance of the company's management software.
  • Maintain the stability and security of the customer's network.
  • Draft technical documents and procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Windows XP, 7,8 and 10 environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Watchguard.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and Exchange.
  • Knowledge of the CLOUD environment.
  • Be available for emergencies (evening / weekend).
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written).
