The Technical Support Specialist is actively involved in the troubleshooting and documentation of the company's computer tools and technical and scientific equipment. They work to understand this equipment and develop a thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and associated risks. Also, the Technical Support Specialist captures relevant information and manages user and group rights structures in Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
Serve as the primary liaison between second level support and our customers.
Provide independent phone and online support and manage the resolution of complex technical issues involving the use of service point equipment, device hardware and software interfaces.
Track and maintain call and event logs in accordance with established policies.
Serve as a technical contact for internal partners.
Maintain interactions that develop and foster loyal business relationships.
Support internal IT processes such as user rights management, user onboarding, IT inventory, data backup, security screening, reporting, IT system validation, website management, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Bilingual French-English (oral and written).
Knowledge of computer networks structures, firewall rules and connectivity.
Experience with Windows 7/10/11 and Linux operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with computer systems validation (CSV) desired.
Ability to capture relevant information in written form in a concise and clear manner for documentation and internal communication purposes.
Ability to manage user and group rights structures in Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
Ability to learn communication protocols and computer interfaces.
Able to follow troubleshooting and documentation procedures and apply themselves to understanding technical and scientific material.
Ability to gain a working knowledge of complex regulatory requirements and associated risks and apply them qualitatively to your work.
Understanding of computer networks structures, firewall rules, and connectivity, with the ability to learn communication protocols and computer interfaces.
Ability to maintain and sustain a validated computer system environment.
