New position!! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electromechanical Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our client located in Oakville, ON. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our high‑speed food production machinery by performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. Les tâches

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair high‑speed machinery, automated production equipment, and industrial mechanical systems.
  • Perform unplanned/reactive mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), fault finding, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace electrical/mechanical components, including wear parts, assemblies, setup adjustments, and calibrations.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including motors, relays, switches, sensors, PLC‑related components, and other machine parts.
  • Execute preventative and predictive maintenance (PM/PPM) as per schedules and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Exigences du poste

  • Degree or Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Millwrighting, or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial automation, processing plant, or manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls systems (motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings, shafts, sprockets, gears, belts, conveyors, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, alignment tools, and precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
