One of our clients, located in Brampton area, is looking for hire Dock Foreman for their facility. Our client is a growing transportation company that processes food products for a chain of grocery stores across Ontario.

Les tâches

  • Supervise dock personnel in day-to-day operations including receiving, staging, loading, and unloading freight.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, dispatch, and warehouse team.
  • Enforce and maintain product handling protocols for temperature-controlled items (frozen, refrigerated, ambient).
  • Monitor trailer temperatures, seal integrity, and ensure cold chain compliance.
  • Assign dock doors and manage scheduling to avoid congestion and delay
  • Ensure proper documentation (BOLs, packing slips, invoices) is collected and accurate.
  • Perform regular safety checks on equipment (dock plates, forklifts, pallet jacks) and report issues promptly.
  • Train and guide new and existing dock staff on SOPs, safety, and equipment use.
  • Track productivity and report KPIs (load times, error rates, damages
  • Enforce all safety, hygiene, and warehouse procedures.
  • Communicate with warehouse leads, QA, inventory, and upper management regarding any discrepancies or delays.

Exigences du poste

  • Miminum 5 years of proven work experience as a Dock Foreman
  • Proficiency in using RF scanners.
  • Valid forklift license (Counterbalance).
  • Familiarity with safe work practices.
