Our client is a family-owned business that has been steadily growing for the last 30 years. They pride themselves on delivering quality products and services to customers across the GTA and beyond. These customers include those in construction, retail, and private sectors, which means there is always plenty of work to be done. They are currently adding a new crew of Cabinet Makers to their Mississauga operation.
Les tâches
Operate woodworking machines and hand tools to cut, shape, and form wooden parts and components.
Build and assemble wooden cabinets, fixtures, furniture, and related products to customer specifications.
Perform assembly-related tasks, such as ordering and installing hardware, trimming joints, fitting parts, and reinforcing units.
Verify plans, measurements, and calculations to ensure accuracy in design, budget, and implementation.
Visually inspect products for defects and imperfections, as well as matching materials, colours, and grains of products.
Read and create products from shop drawings and blueprints.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report issues as they arise.
Carry out additional tasks which contribute to the success of this position.

Exigences du poste
You’ve got the experience part, either from a completed apprenticeship program or time spent on the job.
You understand the visual part and can accurately read and understand blueprints and drawings and translate them into 3D objects.
You can exert some physical effort, dexterity, and coordination, including lifting, twisting, bending, carrying heavy objects (about 25 kilos), and working on uneven surfaces.
