Does your knowledge of the heavy-duty equipment sector and hands-on experience make you the perfect candidate for this new position? Our client is a leader in the sales and rental of heavy equipment across the country. They provide parts and service for all major brands in the industry, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. They are currently seeking a field technician with dealership experience who will be responsible for improving operating efficiencies and overall customer satisfaction for Parts department in British Colombia.

Les tâches

  • Develop and implement a "Customer Service, Customer Focused" mentality within the department and the branch.
  • Boost revenue, enhance operational effectiveness, and increase overall customer satisfaction through the prompt completion of field service work.
  • Manage every element of assigned field service calls.
  • Diagnose and repair machine to identify fault codes, including computer connection/diagnosis.
  • Communicate with vendor, proactive customer contact to properly identify machine faults
  • Buy the necessary parts and following up to make sure they arrive in order to finish the assigned service.

Exigences du poste

  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment & Parts Inventory.
  • Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant work experience required.
  • Licensed Heavy Equipment Certification/license or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years in field experience from dealership.
