Bedard Human Resources is seeking, on behalf of one of its clients operating in the spa and wellness industry, an Accounting Technician for a temporary 3-month assignment. Tasks

  • Verify data transfers between point-of-sale systems and the accounting system.
  • Monitor bank deposits and validate cash receipts.
  • Validate weekly transactions recorded by the centers (e.g., arcade and membership revenues).
  • Participate in month-end processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, loans, etc.).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Excel reports.
  • Perform any other related tasks to support the accounting team.

Job requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting (DEC or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Technician.
  • Experience with month-end accounting processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (account analysis).
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of Odoo software (an asset).
