A large-scale organization operating in the economic development sector is seeking an accounting technician (specialized) to actively contribute to the preparation and production of consolidated financial reports for various strategic entities.
Tasks
Perform required support work for the production of consolidated financial reports.
Act as a subject-matter expert to guide technical solutions within the team.
Prepare and enter monthly adjusting entries for complex accounting transactions not integrated into the financial management system.
Reconcile discrepancies between the financial management system and the accounting system.
Perform checks and controls on the accounting reports produced (general ledger, trial balance, etc.).
Prepare complete documentation to support the annual audit.
Conduct various month-end and year-end analyses to ensure the quality and integrity of financial data.
Participate in tax management.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
College diploma in administrative techniques (accounting or finance option).
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in accounting, particularly in adjustments, accounting records, preparation of financial statements, and audit support files. Senior profile preferred.
