Accounts Payable Technician – Temporary

Tasks

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy.
• Perform 3-way matching (purchase order, receipt, invoice).
• Verify the compliance of invoices according to internal policies and contractual agreements.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.
• Process payments (cheques, wire transfers, and electronic payments) within the required timeframes.
• Respond to supplier inquiries and proactively manage disputes.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization of the Dynamics 365 F&O system.
• Perform any other related tasks as required by the role.

Job requirements

• DEC in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Experience in a project or engineering environment (an asset).
• Proficiency in an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, spreadsheets, validations).
• Knowledge of the complete accounts payable cycle.
