An organization dedicated to supporting immigrants and individuals with disabilities is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing certain projects independently, increasing the non-profit organization's visibility, and reporting to the Board of Directors.
Tasks
Organize fundraising events (both online and in person);
Research grants and partnerships to support the organization's projects;
Develop and implement strategies to promote the organization's services, including through social media, communication campaigns, and public relations initiatives;
Provide personalized follow-up to the organization's beneficiaries, identify their needs, and offer appropriate support;
Organize special activities for members of the organization and manage assigned files and projects;
Provide support with any other duties related to the position.

Job requirements
2 to 4 years of experience in administration;
Experience in communications;
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken, to communicate with organizations in Ontario (approximately 40% of the time);
Experience working with a non-profit organization (NPO), an asset.
