Our client is seeking a reliable and professional person to fill the position of Appliance Delivery Assistant in the Montreal area. You will work in tandem with a driver to deliver, position, and perform basic installation of appliances in homes and businesses.
Tasks
Participate in the safe loading and unloading of the truck.
Move appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.) to the location designated by the customer.
Unpack and position appliances; dispose of packaging materials according to standards.
Assist with basic installations (leveling, connecting to existing sources).
Use mobile tools to track delivery steps and submit proof of delivery (POD).
Protect the customer’s property and report any incidents or damages.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in appliance or furniture delivery.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads using appropriate equipment.
Good physical condition and availability to work in various conditions (stairs, weather, confined spaces).
Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) required to communicate with customers about 50% of the time.
