Tasks
Responding to service calls for instrumentation and control.
Programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
Creating electrical drawings (Autocad Electrical) for control panels.
Participating in the commissioning of new installations.
Supporting sales teams in project estimation.
Optimizing and improving existing systems.
Training users and operators on equipment.
Keeping up-to-date with new methods and innovations.
Performing other related tasks.

Job requirements
DEP or DEC in automation, industrial control, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in programming Omron and Allen-Bradley PLCs (a significant asset).
Strong skills with variable frequency drives, soft starters, and HMIs.
Intermediate English, spoken and written, to communicate with English-speaking clients about 30% of the time.
