Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

As an Automotive Parts Clerk, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the workshop by providing fast, accurate, and courteous service to technicians and customers.

Tasks

  • Greet technicians and customers at the parts counter and respond promptly to their requests
  • Identify, research, and locate required parts using catalogs, computer systems, and internal inventories
  • Prepare, distribute, and invoice parts for the mechanical workshop based on active work orders
  • Manage inventory: receive orders, verify quantities, label, classify, and store parts
  • Order parts from suppliers and ensure follow-up on deliveries
  • Advise external customers on recommended parts, accessories, and products
  • Update records, process parts returns, and handle warranties according to internal procedures
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure an efficient workflow between the parts department and the workshop
  • Perform any other related duties

Job requirements

  • Training and/or experience in roles such as mechanic, sales, inventory management, or parts clerk in the mechanical field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable with computer tools; knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (to handle calls and emails from English-speaking clients and suppliers, approximately 30% of the time)
  • Mechanical knowledge
