Our client, a well-established company in the industrial and chemical products sector for over 30 years, is committed to providing high-quality customer service. They meet the specific needs of their clients by ensuring quick and accurate order management. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating between the sales and operations teams. You will thrive in a dynamic and friendly environment where every interaction is crucial. Your expertise will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships and optimizing internal operations.

Tasks

  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording all necessary information.
  • Receive, process, and validate customer orders in the CRM system.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by handling requests in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Track customer complaints, distribute information to relevant parties, and propose solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to resolve customer concerns.
  • Work closely with the logistics, operations, and procurement departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and customer service.
  • Use appropriate tools to provide accurate and complete information to customers.
  • Follow up on customer interactions and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing, construction, distribution, or transportation environment.
  • Practical experience in customer service or B2B sales in a similar environment in Quebec.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken (approximately 50% of communications will be in English).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to meet set goals, supported by technical and sales teams.
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office) and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other integrated management systems is an asset.
