The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of residential buildings. Versatile and service-oriented, this person ensures the comfort and safety of the tenants.
This position also involves participation in an on-call rotation with the existing maintenance team.
Tasks
Perform routine maintenance tasks in the buildings (basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, ventilation, locks, etc.).
Respond to repair requests or emergencies reported by tenants.
Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems (heating, roofing, plumbing, safety systems, etc.).
Assist in renovation and improvement projects within the units.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure tenant satisfaction.
Strictly adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
Participate in the on-call rotation (approximately one week per month, with compensation).
Perform any other related duties as needed.

Job requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in general building maintenance, building mechanics, renovation, or equivalent training.
