My client, a well-established and recognized manufacturing company in the field of high-end custom furniture, is looking for a cabinetmaker to join its production team. Present on the market for more than 50 years, it stands out for the exceptional quality of its products, its local know-how and its approach focused on the customer experience.

Tasks

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specifications to understand the dimensions, assemblies and types of materials required.
  • Prepare and adjust woodworking machines to cut, shape and assemble the different parts according to the project requirements.
  • Manually shape and adjust parts using precision tools to achieve a neat finish that meets quality standards.
  • Assemble and solidify wood structures by adjusting joints and checking the strength of each component before the finishing step.
  • Sand, stain or varnish wood surfaces and, if necessary, apply decorative or laminate coatings to ensure a high-end appearance.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a cabinetmaking or precision carpentry position.
  • Comfortable reading technical plans.
  • Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
