Our client, a well-established company with many years of experience in the construction industry, is looking for an independent, energetic, and physically fit individual to deliver construction equipment and materials to job sites throughout Montreal and surrounding areas.
In this key role, you will operate a recent-model truck while also supervising and supporting the current delivery driver.
Tasks
Deliver drywall to construction sites approximately 1 to 2 days per week.
Transport and deliver materials and equipment as required.
Operate a Class 1 truck and safely maneuver trailers.
Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials.
Supervise and support the current delivery driver.
Coordinate daily activities and ensure deliveries run smoothly.
Lead by example in terms of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Perform vehicle inspections and ensure the truck and equipment are kept clean and in good condition.
Maintain positive relationships with contacts at construction sites.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
Valid Class 1 driver’s licence.
Comfortable maneuvering trailers and transporting equipment.

Physically fit and comfortable handling materials on construction sites.
Autonomous, organized, and professional.
ASP Construction card is an asset; training can be provided if required.
Experience delivering drywall or construction materials is considered an asset.
