Tasks
Transport various types of metals while adhering to safety standards and road regulations.
Travel regional routes, including but not limited to Amos, Val-d’Or, La Sarre, and Rouyn-Noranda.
Inspect the vehicle before, during, and after each trip to ensure proper functioning.
Follow internal safety policies and all regulations for transportation.
Make deliveries and replace containers at client sites as needed.
Frequently get in and out of the truck for loading and unloading operations.
Assist with the handling of materials at some mining sites, including wood, waste, and metals.
Complete mandatory training to work safely on mining sites.
Drive different types of trucks, including the tractor with grapple trailer and the 12-wheel roll-off truck with trailer.
Perform any other duties related to the position.

Job requirements
Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Class 1 driver.
Good physical condition to handle transportation and material handling tasks.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your time.
Punctual, meticulous, and reliable in task execution.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
