Tasks

  • Perform deliveries and transport goods according to established routes while respecting schedules and safety standards.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before each departure to ensure mechanical reliability and equipment compliance.
  • Ensure the safe handling of merchandise during loading and unloading operations.
  • Maintain constant communication with the dispatch team to follow instructions, report issues, and optimize operations.
  • Complete all required documentation related to deliveries, inspections, and transportation activities.
  • Comply with safe driving practices, company policies, and applicable transportation regulations.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Valid Class 1 driver's licence.
  • Experience driving heavy vehicles (an asset).
  • Good driving record and strong commitment to road safety standards.
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections and monitor equipment condition.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, independence, and professionalism.
  • Adaptability and ability to work collaboratively with the dispatch team.
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts, including the possibility of departures on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.
  • Good physical condition to perform transportation-related duties.
  • Functional French, both spoken and written.
  • Functional English required; ability to communicate and understand English in a work environment approximately 50% of the time.
